Chon-Kemin Valley: guesthouse stays on a Kyrgyzstan tour
A valley overnight with a traditional dinner, private room facilities and a pace adapted to your journey.
About Chon-Kemin Valley: guesthouse stays on a Kyrgyzstan tour
Chon-Kemin is a green valley where our Kyrgyzstan itineraries pause for dinner and a guesthouse night before continuing towards Bishkek. It provides a change of pace after the mountain roads and lake visits, with time for a walk when arrival time and weather allow.
The standard guesthouse rooms we select have their own shower and toilet. Dinner and the overnight stay are included when specified in your tour programme. Horse riding and other additional activities are discussed separately and should not be assumed to be included.

Where Chon-Kemin fits into the journey
The six- and eight-day Kazakhstan–Kyrgyzstan tours reach Chon-Kemin after the Issyk-Kul section. The seven-day programme comes from Song-Kol, or its seasonal alternative. Offroad Adventure travels from Naryn via Kochkor and the Orto-Tokoy Reservoir area before reaching the valley.
After the overnight stay, the route continues towards Bishkek with planned visits such as Burana and Ala-Archa. Weather, traffic and the pace of the group affect how much fits into the day, so the guide agrees priorities rather than promising unlimited sightseeing.
Guesthouse rooms and meals
The standard itinerary uses a guesthouse with a private shower and toilet in each room. Dinner and breakfast follow the agreed programme. Tell us dietary preferences and rooming needs before booking; property selection and any accommodation upgrade are confirmed in advance.
Walks and preparation
Walks can be shortened or extended to suit the guests and the time available after the drive. Bring comfortable shoes, a warm layer and rain protection. If you want horse riding or another extra activity, discuss availability, time and price in advance; it is not automatically included in the guesthouse stay.
