Local knowledge and a personal approach

Silk Travel is based in Almaty. Our guides introduce guests to the landscapes, food and everyday culture of Kazakhstan and neighbouring countries, adapting walks and time at stops to the interests of the group and local conditions.

The programmes range from private day trips around Almaty to longer Central Asian journeys with local teams, trains and flights. Each tour page explains its route and services, so accommodation, transport and included activities can be agreed before the trip.
