Lake Issyk, formed about 8000 years ago, is located in the Issyk gorge of the Zailiysky Alatau, about 70 km from the city of Almaty.
The lake is surrounded by mountains and has a very beautiful, turquoise color. Issyk Lake, like Bao, can change color several times a day, which attracts tourists to visit this mysterious place!
You can have a small picnic on the lake, or stop by a trout farm along the way, where you can go fishing and taste the fish you caught.
The Bear Waterfall is located in the Turgen Gorge, 70 km from the city of Almaty, in the Ile-Alatau National Park. The Turgen gorge has 7 waterfalls, but the most popular among tourists is the Bear waterfall, since the walking time to it is about half an hour. On the way to the waterfall, there is also something to see, a seething river, small wooden bridges, picnic lawns, majestic mountains. In the summer, this place is famous for its lush greenery, and a variety of herbs and flowers.
Optionally, we can visit an ostrich farm or a museum in the city of Issyk.
